Order your Repeat Prescription here

Pharmacies will no longer be able to request repeat prescriptions on your behalf as of Monday 23rd April 2018. Please see information from Healthier North West London NHS. Instead, we ask that you request your repeat prescription yourself, either using our online system or by dropping a request into the surgery. Requests must be made in writing.

Guide to Ordering repeat prescriptions online

The old service has been switched off as of Wednesday 8th November 2017, Please sign up to Patient Access below for future requests. 

You may have been previously registered with our online system. This has been turned off as of November 8th 2017, but don't worry, our new system is even better! To re-register and apply for online access, please follow these steps;

1. Visit https:/patient.emisaccess.co.uk

2. Click on Register

3. Have you received a registration letter from your Practice? Select No

4. Enter your postcode and select Next

5. Select The Ridgeway Surgery and then Next

6. Click The Ridgeway Surgery and then Continue

7. Fill in your details and choose a password, Check I agree and Next

8. Enter your email address and chosen security questions

9. Sign in

Once you have registered, the surgery will activate your account and send you your unique 'Linkage key' login code.

We will ask you to confirm some information over the phone so we can ensure we allocate log-ins safely and securely to the right individuals.

For patients who need regular medication we run a repeat prescription system. Drugs authorised for repeat are listed in the right-hand side (white) of the prescription.


Please tick on this list to order medication as necessary. 

You can also order your repeat prescription using our online request service, which is accessible both during working hours and when the surgery is closed. 

If you are requesting a new medication, or are requesting early, please state the reason you need it. This will help the Doctor in issuing your medication appropriately and prevent delays. 

The "scripts" email is no longer in use. Please do not send future requests to it.  


Prescription Collection Service

The list of pharmacies that collect prescriptions from us are listed on the form. You can choose to have your prescription sent to any of these or to pick it up from the surgery directly. If the pharmacy is not listed, we are unable to deliver it to them but you can collect the prescription from our surgery and take it to them yourself if desired. Please contact us if you require any further information 


 

For housebound patients many of the local pharmacies offer a home delivery service and we are happy to liaise directly with them.

The processing of repeat prescriptions takes 3 working days. If there is a query regarding the prescription it may take longer. If you would like us to post the prescription back to you please enclose a SAE with your request.

Prescriptions will be ready for collection from the surgery or from your assigned pharmacy. If you are unsure where you should collect your prescription from please call us in advance.

Patients with long term conditions such as an underactive thyroid, high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus require regular prescriptions. When your medication is stable and your annual check for these conditions is satisfactory we are happy to issue 6 months worth of post dated prescriptions. You can liaise with your local pharmacy or with reception to arrange this.
